Inside MFISD: A State of the District Update

Join us for an informative Chamber Luncheon featuring Dr. Jeff Gasaway, Superintendent of Marble Falls Independent School District. Dr. Gasaway will provide a State of the District update, sharing insights on student success, district growth, workforce readiness, and the important role education plays in supporting our local economy and community.

Attendees will gain a better understanding of current initiatives, future plans, and how businesses and community members can partner with the district to support students and strengthen the future workforce.

Speaker: Dr. Jeff Gasaway


BIO: Dr. Jeff Gasaway – is in his 30th year in education. He began as a teacher, athletic trainer and coach. He made the transition 24 years ago from the classroom to administration. His bachelor’s degree is from Texas Tech, master’s degree from Texas A&M – Commerce, and his doctorate from Baylor University. He has served in a number of capacities including assistant principal, associate principal, principal, director in HR, and Deputy Superintendent of Administration. He is the Superintendent at Marble Falls ISD. He is married to his wife, Kara, who is principal at Spicewood Elementary. The just celebrated last month 25 years of marriage. They have 2 boys, Hunter and Hayden. Both are Marble Falls High School graduates. Hunter is a graduate of the University of Texas and working in Los Angeles to pursue opportunities in the film or television industry. Hayden is a freshmen at Ole Miss and studying Political Science.
