State of the District with MFISD Superintendent, Dr. Jeff Gasaway


BIO: Dr. Jeff Gasaway – is in his 29th year in education. He began as a teacher, athletic trainer and coach. He made the transition 24 years ago from the classroom to administration. His bachelor’s degree is from Texas Tech, master’s degree from Texas A&M – Commerce, and his doctorate from Baylor University. He has served in a number of capacities including assistant principal, associate principal, principal, director in HR, and Deputy Superintendent of Administration. He is the Superintendent at Marble Falls ISD. He is married to his wife, Kara, who is principal at Spicewood Elementary. The just celebrated last month 25 years of marriage. They have 2 boys, Hunter and Hayden. Both are Marble Falls High School graduates. Hunter is a graduate of the University of Texas and working in Los Angeles to pursue opportunities in the film or television industry. Hayden is a freshmen at Ole Miss and studying Political Science.
