We are seeking qualified applicants to perform electronic and physical security work in the Highland Lakes area.
These positions involve installing and troubleshooting security equipment in residential and commercial work environments.
The ideal candidate will have formal education or training in electronic security, access control as well as IP networking. Equivalent experience in these fields will also be considered in lieu of formal training. The candidate will also have the ability and willingness to learn new technologies as they are deployed in our multi-faceted business.
A keen sense of professionalism is absolutely required. The willingness to work long hours when needed and the ability to participate in an on-call schedule for after-hours calls is mandatory as well. Some travel is required.
Job Skills Required
Install residential/commercial electronic security systems
Use necessary tools to run indoor/outdoor CAT5/6, Banana Peel and other low voltage cables
Climb ladders, work at elevation and operate a lift for installs
Understand the basics of electrical wiring needed to connect DC powered equipment
Program various wireless radios, cameras and access control devices
Understand home WiFi networks to be used with wireless security devices
Adhere to all safety requirements needed to work in the security industry
