Speaker: Dori Yeater, Director of Development


BIO: 
Dori Yeater is a 18-year non-profit fundraising executive with extensive event and program management experience. She is a self-starter and diligent learner accomplished in teaming with clients, vendors, co-workers, volunteers, and collaborates with individual and corporate donors to identify the highest investment value and creatively deploy philanthropic efforts in a meaningful and sustainable way. Dori applies strong event plannning skills to create and execute innovative engagement opportunities. Currently, Dori is working with Opportunities for Williamson & Burnet Counties as the Director of Development. Even though she lives in Austin, and loves it, she is a proud Aggie graduating from Texas A&M University with a BA in Communications and Minor in Theatre. In her spare time, you can find her volunteering, performing or sitting in the audience at her community theatre, or cooking and enjoying win and laughter with friends and family.


Open Door Recovery House
Speaker: Paula Mays, Executive Director

BIO: Mays is the Executive Director of Open Door Recovery House in Marble Falls. She serves the community by providing an encouraging Christian environment for women seeking recovery from alcohol and other drug abuse. Since opening the doors in 2010, over 280 women have been provided a place to stay, food, transportation and more, for free. Her goal is to provide this invaluable recovery environment for the ladies to grow as they learn to transition back into the community.


Hill Country Humane Society
Speaker: Paighton Corley, Executive Director


BIO: Paighton Corley is a animal welfare advocate and the Executive Director of Hill Country Humane Society. She graduated from Concordia University with a degree in Behavioral Science and was a collegiate heptathlete, bringing competitive spirit to work saving animals. Based in Burnet, Texas, Paighton is passionate about making real, lasting change in animal welfare. She has led initiatives to increase lifesaving efforts, expand access to veterinary care, and advocate for humane solutions in rural communities.
