Ardra Hughe’s Bio

With over two decades of experience as a business owner and healthcare professional, Ardra brings both practical leadership and evidence-based insight to the Maxwell DISC workshop experience. Since 2005, she has successfully led and grown a local business employing more than 20 team members, cultivating a strong culture of collaboration, accountability, and unity. Her hands-on leadership style is rooted in real-world experience—guiding diverse personalities, resolving conflict, and building high-performing teams.

Her foundation in teamwork and performance began as a collegiate athlete, where she learned firsthand how to balance individual excellence with a team-first mindset. Competing required not only personal discipline and drive, but also a commitment to elevating others—whether in individual events or as part of a collective effort. This experience shaped her belief that true success comes from maximizing individual strengths while contributing to a greater shared goal.

As a practicing physical therapist, she pairs clinical expertise with a deep understanding of the importance and necessity for collaboration and communication. This unique combination allows her to connect DISC principles to everyday interactions in both professional and personal settings, making them highly applicable and actionable.

She is especially passionate about equipping women leaders and business owners to step confidently into their roles and lead with clarity and purpose. She believe in growing individuals for optimal communication, teamwork, and collaboration by focusing on the strengths each person brings—rather than allowing differences to create division. Her approach emphasizes unity through understanding, helping individuals and teams leverage diverse perspectives to achieve greater success together.

In addition to my professional roles, she is a mother of two boys, which has further shaped my perspective on the importance of communication, adaptability, and relationship-building. Whether in the clinic, the workplace, or at home, she is passionate about helping individuals better understand themselves and others in order to foster stronger, more effective relationships.
