The Highland Lakes Democratic Women will welcome Suzette Baker to their March meeting. Suzette is the former head librarian of the Kingsland Library Branch of the Llano County Library System who was terminated for refusing to censor books. She is also featured in a documentary titled The Librarians, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. The meeting is Thursday, March 27 at 2 pm at the Marble Falls Senior Center, 618 Avenue L. Come early and bring a sack lunch for a social hour. No RSVP required.
