Christian Fletcher, Executive Director
Marble Falls Economic Development Corporation
BIO: Christian has been the Executive Director of the Marble Falls Economic Development Corporation since September 2011. Prior to that, he was the Executive Director of the Marble Falls/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce for 5 ½ years.
Christian has degrees from Duke and Yale in academic disciplines only divinely connected to economic development. He and his wife, Kathy, are both natives of Marble Falls, and they have two sons, Grant and Keis, who are recent college graduates.
Clare Knapp, Ph.D, Housing Economist
Austin Board of REALTORS
BIO: In her role as Housing Economist, Dr. Clare Knapp helps unpack complex data and keeps REALTORS® up to date on the latest trends in the Austin housing market and broader economy. She’s passionate about providing accurate, timely, and relevant analysis & commentary on the Austin economy and housing market that allows REALTORS® to better understand current conditions in the market and optimize their business practices accordingly.
Prior to joining ABoR, Clare worked at the Texas Real Estate Research Center at Texas A&M University for seven years as Assistant Research Economist. In her role, she provided analysis & commentary on the Austin economy and housing market using econometric and statistical models. And very similar to her role here at ABoR, she conducted research and analysis on Texas housing markets and housing affordability for cities, communities, and nonprofit organizations across Texas.
Clare earned her Bachelor’s at the University of Texas Austin, her Master’s in Land Economics and Real Estate from Texas A&M University, and her Doctorate in Urban and Regional Sciences from Texas A&M University. And if that wasn’t enough, she served as the President of the Urban and Regional Sciences Student Organization during her time at Texas A&M!
In her free time, you can find Clare running, reading, spending time with family and friends, or volunteering with South Austin Rotary Club. She also volunteers as an usher for St. David’s Episcopal Church.
Caleb Kraenzel, Deputy City Manager
City of Marble Falls
BIO: Caleb Kraenzel was appointed Deputy City Manager for the City of Marble Falls in 2023 after having previously served as the Assistant City Manager for over 7 years. He currently oversees the Public Works, Parks and Recreation, Engineering, and Development Services departments as well as the Downtown and Marketing Manager.
Caleb’s passion for municipal government developed out of a desire to positively impact local government and its service to the community. He is a 5-year veteran of the United States Army and holds a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Science Texas State University. Caleb is a Certified Planner with the American Planning Association (AICP), a Certified Public Manager (CPM), member in the Marble Falls Rotary Club. Caleb loves spending personal time with his family, wife Kim, and daughter Liv.
