They immerse themselves in imagination and reflection, enjoy meaningful conversations while relaxing in our café, and take a journey of belovedness with us. Position: Marketing Manager
Location: Belóved Gallery
Compensation: $31/hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional weekends and events

Overview:
Belóved Gallery is seeking a highly organized and creative Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will work alongside the Marketing Director in various marketing initiatives, ensuring our content is engaging, effective, and aligned with our brand's vision. You will be crucial in executing our marketing strategy, managing social media, producing content, and supporting media outreach efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation and Management:
- Assist in the execution of marketing plans by drafting, building, and publishing content.
- Provide input on content ideas and help develop the marketing and public relations strategy.
- Draft and build weekly social media content, ensuring all content is organized for reporting purposes.
- Produce and maintain a pipeline of content for social media.
- Moderate social media by responding to messages and comments.
- Ensure that assets are backed up and organized in Belóved Gallery's library system.
- Capture mobile phone video and photo content onsite at the gallery for use in marketing mediums.
- Assist with video and photography shoots as needed.
2. Email Marketing:
- Build finalized email content and submit it for editing rounds and final review.
- Monitor post-email processes and maintain email lists, ensuring correct segmentation for targeted marketing.
- Assist with maintaining and updating email lists, ensuring they are segmented correctly for targeted marketing.
3. Media Outreach and Public Relations:
- Maintain media contact lists and schedule meetings or interviews.
- Draft initial versions of press releases, gather necessary information, and distribute them to media contacts.
- Track media coverage and compile reports on media mentions.
4. Advertising and PPC Campaigns:
- Set up and manage PPC campaigns under the guidance of the director, including keyword selection and ad copywriting.
5. Graphic Design Support:
- Assist in graphic design projects across various marketing mediums (print, social, email).
- Draft graphic design needs for approval and feedback to achieve approved status.
6. Project and Budget Management:
- Track marketing expenses to assist in keeping the budget up to date.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues, managing open tickets, and detecting inefficient processes.
- Use project management tools (Asana) to organize and track marketing tasks and projects.
7. Event Support:
- Update the event website as needed.
- Help create and set up event exhibitions (booths, interactive art).
- Design and produce promotional materials (flyers, brochures, digital content).
- Coordinate with local businesses for auction packages.
- Monitor and manage content deadlines and ensure project completion.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and surveys.
- Analyze event performance and gather feedback.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for future events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
- Strong understanding of email marketing platforms and PPC campaign management.
- Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to find creative solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
