
Paraoptometric Technician
We are looking for an optometric technician to assist our doctors in providing comprehensive eye care services to patients. You will measure visual acuity, conduct preliminary eye exams, administer diagnostic tests, and prepare patients for treatment. You may also assist with contact lens fittings, frame selection, and eyewear adjustments. Working closely with our doctors to provide high-quality patient care and maintain equipment. Must have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Management of patient flow to provide an exceptional patient experience.
- Paraoptometric duties, including performing pretesting, reviewing medical history, preparing patients for exams, and other tasks requested by the doctor.
- Educating patient on insertion, removal and proper care of contact lenses and contact lens quotes
- Helping maintain a well-organized, and efficient clinical environment.
- Assisting receptionist with phone, and other clerical tasks as needed
